To be honest I think its very unfair towards Irish people with those comments that have been posted about them, because not every Irish person is the same. And wherever you go on holiday you will find people that use foul lanuage/think they own the place/get drunk etc whether they are Irish, English, Scottish, German etc. Its not just Irish people!!!

Morning All, I've not posted for a while now, but having read the above posts needed to have a little say. i have been visiting PDC for many years on and off now. I love the place and erm...i live in Blackpool, :) and Blackpool like PDC isnt all tatt. ....

This year we tried Playa Blanca which was nice but prefer PDC. Have stayed in various apartments and villa's but never in the centre, usually Los pocillos...i find you get what you pay for, and if you research properly you dont get too many surprises. As for the Irish, I lived in ireland until i was 15, and i have to admit the Irish can be very erm..boisterous.. but thats their nature, they like to party...I prefer the quiet life ( yes i know, a contradiction because i holiday in PDC and live in Blackpool) so now i search out quiet villa's and apartments which means i can go out have fun, with whatever nationality i meet, then go back to a nice quiet place to rest my head :) As for all the bickering on this forum, sometimes its amusing to read the way people fall into traps laid by bored people, it used to be a nicer place, but nothing stays the same.

Waves at Meatloaf and Overhere xx
