Going to PDC on 5 August for 12 nights. We always stay in the new town either in Acquarius Sol or La Penita. Always keen to try new self catering places on this side of PDC. Does anyone have any recommendations? Accommodation needs to tick all the usual boxes ie clean; handy; good reception staff; good pool bar, good security etc. Accommodation budget around £600 -£700. Thanks

We have been to Montana Club a couple of times now. The apartments are well equiped, there are two swimming pools, you are close to the strip but in a very quiet area and all for about 35 euros per night ( sleep four ) We are going back in a couple of weeks while we complete the purchase on an apartment at Matagorda Bay. :D

Focker is indeed correct as far as 'tick all boxes' places go, plus the location of Baracola (next to that small Italian section and facing Tiny's) is perfect.
Always found it to be slightly expensive though.

Parque Tropical is a belting little gem, right at the back of CC. Check the reviews of TA - you wont be dissapointed with this place.

Oh, and you can pre-book and pay when you arrive. Gives you time to save and not get stung by your credit card company.

Hi Yorkyboy

We did ours through Booking.com - I have posted a link below.

http://www.booking.com/hotels/hotel/es/ ... 931e8a1b30

Just for info, we have booked 18 nights at new year (usually expensive) for around 650 Euro - a brilliant deal.

These apartments are spotless, ideally located, and have great staff.

Have a top time!

Hi
I like Las Palmeras III. No pool bar but you're only a couple of streets from the front so it's a short walk. It's a quiet little complex of private apartments, very clean and smart and a great location. :-)

(3 weeks and counting until our return!!)
