By browsing this forum I get the feeling I've already answered my own question. Are the tourists who visit kids (18-30) who party all night or are there quiet areas for people in their 50's who just want to walk on the beach and kayak?

I'm 52. I'd say that no matter what age you are you will find something on Lanzarote.

Location: Butuan, Ph
Areas to suit all ages. Everyone gets on with whatever and if you party all night its not noticed even in the next street.
I prefer quiet but still been visiting PdC since 1990.

Matagorda and Los Pocillos seem quieter. Playa Blanca is gentle as is Costa Teguise. Nightlife is centred around Centro Atlantico in PdC and also in Arrecife. Not denying there are clubs in Pb and Ct.

Well we went to Lanza with big groups of mates when were 18-30 - but always stayed in Playa Blanca and got taxi into PdC if we fancied a big night out. Never really liked PdC period regardless of age!! But thats just my opinion!

No, the tourists that visit are not all kids!!!
You have all types in Lanza from babbies up to Ould Coffin Dodgers   :D

There are no Lanzarote type tourists. If you go for a walk you will see kids/people on roller blades and older people in Mobility Vehicles.

Hope that answers your question :D

Thanks everybody. :) I'll keep Lanzarote in mind. I'm researching islands for my 60th birthday. 8) No reason to pay a fortune for a Carbibbean island when I can get what I'm looking for for less.
