Good morning
In Lanza on holiday this week, and I need to pick up my Mum (70) and Aunt (80) from the airport in my hire car.
Is the 'pick-up' exit clearly marked (they can get a bit muddled at times!).
Is there a limited waiting time or charge for me when I collect them, or can I just park the car and go into the airport to find them?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Personally I would park in the car park. If you follow departures (Salidas) the car park entrance is clear to see on your left. Find your relations and take them with you.
You cant stop in pick up area for long. The car park is free for 1st 20 mins then relativley cheap after that, for short stays.

I always park my rent-a-car in the carpark downstairs (where you would deliver your car after your stay) and leave a note in the window saying I'll be there for a short time. I even do that when I do short trips to London/Oslo and am away for a couple of days. Never had any problem with that, and it is absolutely no charge to worry about.....

Done it for many years.....

A simple and easy solution whenever I pick up my guests too.....

Follow the sign "Llegadas" (arrivals) as you arrive in the airport and drive past the taxi-rank. On the left hand side just after the last red zebrastripes you'll find the entry into the parking.

Lanza airport is unique in many ways, - this is one of the real benefits you have.......

I've picked up friends a couple of times and park in the upper car park, once we were about an hour and I'm sure the charge was something like 60 cents. Hope they never learn how much we are ripped off at UK airport car parks. P.S. I would worry about parking in the rental car park in case they took it back

Your right short term parking is very cheap.
They make up for it with long term though.
Like you I dont think I would be brave enough to leave it in the car rental park.
