Hi,
We are visiting Costa Teguise end Aug/early Sept.
Can anyone let me know if it is easy to get a taxi from the airport to the resort, or is there long queues. Also how much approx should we be charged (2 people)?
We wanted to make our own way to the hotel and not rely on the tour operators coach service.

Many thanks
AC

You would be looking at between €20-€25 per taxi, up to 4 people. The taxi drivers are very honest and all taxi´s are metered.
The queues look long but normally move very quickly.

Hey,
I am going the same time as you, I have booked my transfers through alpharooms.com. It has cost £11.50 return per person.

Wait for a taxi, very short wait. If a daytime arrival head through where the coach´s park and go to terminal 2 for the domestic flights, taxi´s always available.
€20-€25 max for 4 people to CT.

hi the taxi queues are very long and the the time to wait goes on thursdays and sundays up to 90 min ( by only ca 50 taxis at the airport and arriving 2000 people just to the same time at midday and again 2000 at the afternoon). on the other days it goes quicker.
the best is when you come on a thursday or sunday book a transfer. a taxi cost you about 20 to 25 euro each way and a booked transfer will cost you the same.

I've never waited more than ten minutes on a taxi, even on a Thursday.

50 euros average return ,instead you could pay the extra and hire a car for a week or 2 see the sights and then drop it back off the airport ,i paid £125 for 2 weeks in september this year with autoreisen ,you mind find it cheaper ,its well worth it you can do your own island tours for the cost of the petrol ,which is cheap :D it really makes a great holiday complete
