I have met a lot of people over the years here who had historically been cyprus ites and all said that they really enjoyed lanza as well, I think its an Island "thing"

Sept is a good time as well, fewer crowds, but still busy atmosphere, and the weather is still lovely but not searing hot. Good time to do exploring or just chilling out I would say.

Funnily enough, I live in Lanz and was thinking of booking a holiday to Cyprus Seriously!

Thats another nice thing about Lanzarote - the temperatures are more moderate than a lot of other "hot countries" and the night time temperatures are mostly pleasant. You dont need aircon to survive like some places! And the ever-present gentle breeze (alright then so sometimes its a bit more than gentle!) is a blessing

Ohhhhh you'll definately relax buckit. Its not a bug that ya get. Like someone once said "its an addiction" !! Then ya gotta go the docs & get some pills to calm the "I'm missing Lanza" palpatations down a bit !!
Ditto, ditto & TREBLE DITTO... I can only echo everyone else' sentiments. First time for me was 3 years ago. Never been anywhere else since !! I go as often as poss.... enough said...
To Lanza & all its inhabitants.... Don't change a thing,,, we love the island & the people just the way it is !! 12/10 from me,,,,everytime !!

i am having the lanza blues but the doc wouldnt prescribe me anything!!!! so i prescribed myself another 2 holidays to lanza his year!! think that should do the trick!

I got the Lanza blues as well jen.... Gonna have a shmooozy round the internet to see if I can get a "quick" (calm the palpatations) week in October,,,,,,,, I can't wait till crimbo,,,, its toooooo long to wait !!

We are just back home and loved our holiday so much that our 19 year old daughter is hoping to move over there. Does anyone have any advice for her?

Think very carefully. Ensure you have at least 6 months rent and spending money. Plan thoroughly and read through this forum to find some of the pitfalls that hopefully you can avoid.
It´s great for a holiday but living and working here is very much a different experience.

Just read your blog, and it's lovely. I felt like that when I came back for the first time in August last year! (I've been back once in January and i've got 7 weeks until i'm back again).

I think the whole place has such a lovely feel about it. It took me ages to get 'back to normal' - I feel your pain!!
