Hi guys im new! Ive been to Lanza twice before and absolutley love it! I will live their one day 8)! But in the meantime I Just wondered could anyone suggest a nice cheapish apartment/hotel for 3 Irish males aged 26, 31 and 54? We want somewere thats close to the bars restaurants etc but far enough away that the accomadation is quiet, also somewere thats not got loads of kids at it screaming there heads off everyday!

Also we want mid-late september, id imagine its still hot?

Best nightclubs/bars?

Well If anyone knows anywere let me know please

Thank-you very much.

Hiya Chris,

There are too many places that suit your needs in Lanzarote.

Look up Los Hibiscos on the Trip Advisor website. It's an apartment complex that's about 150 yards away from the main beach road.

It's a 5 mins walk from the late bars/nightclubs in Centro Atlantico and about 10-15 mins walk to the Old Town.

Re kids screaming their heads off: I assume they'll be back in school in September :)

Re pubs: there's too much choice again. Have a look around and be aware that if you don't like someplace, then there are plenty more places to try. A personal choice would be the Bodhran, just around the corner from Mulligans on the front.

Hi Chris,
I can recommend the Montana Club in PDC. At the back, so a three minute walk to the Casino area ( central ) but very quiet. Also good value @ £30.00 per night per room ( sleeps 4 )
Give it a go and let us know what you thought .

You've made a great choice Chris, great apartments that are just perfectly located a couple of hundred yards from the Commercial Centro.

Very clean for a 2 star, good staff (especially the legendry Ali). Listen out for his 'HAPPPPY HOURRRRR! shouts at 4 o'clock every day.

I posted a review on Tripadvisor in January if you want to check it out.

When you off Chris? Im off with 2 of my mates on the 17th for 10 days and I cannot wait. I've been at this time of year before and the weather will still be hot and most of the bars in Centro should still be busy. My personal faves are Big Apple, Ache, Hippodrome & Nikki Beach.

Enjoy

Hiya

My family and I booked privately through an Irish guy whom was great through a website - Lanzarote breaks - property 7701 - the complex was lovely (some privately owned and some through the hotel itself - 2 pools, restaurant, Jacuzzi, close to beach, shopping centre, gym, private shop etc - only came home today and would go back in a second!!!! The villa was great quiet at night so could sleep away from the evening entertainment, but still closed enough to have fun! Please say Caroline from Aberdeen advised you to go if you book!!

Like i said there is a shopping Centre/taxi rank 5 mins from the complex where you can also get picked up on all excersions advertised on the Island - i would advise the South Volcano excertion as i have never enjoyed myself so much for the money (well i will be honest the 3 course meal was not so good, but the excersion was!!) Any info please email me at caroline1111666111@hotmail.co.uk for any other advise as went right round the Island and can't wait to go back!!

Can i just say one more thing its in walking distance of Puerto Del Carmen, 4 euros in a taxi or 1.50 euros on a bus!!

Thanks Caroline

If you like live music, you wont find anywhere better than Charlies Bar, in Centro Atlantico. Give Fire and Ricks bar a visit for a few jars. Very Jealous your going, me and my mate used to go every year (sometimes twice a year), but not been for a couple of years now. Hope the place hasn't changed much

Sorry, but I feel Atlantico has gone right downhill. The PR's are a nightmare (look at my previous rant) and Gary from Ricks has been gone about 2 years. It's a young lad now and a very very young crowd, none of the big laughs and personal slaggings Gary gave. Charlies is still quite very good though.

Oh thats such a shame - I used to love going into Rick's for Gary's banter, it's what brought me back to Lanza twice a year, I used to miss Ricks so much when I was back home. Do you know if he's still in Lanza, or has he moved on elsewhere?
