hi all,

Will be back on the island on 22nd April....having been there 10 times or so now we have visited all the tourist areas and having taken a cymmon tour we have seen lots of things that are hidden out the way.....last time we were there in October we found Famara Beach and loved it.....ive been all over the island but can anyone tell me somewhere that only the locals or you lucky people living there know about ???? We always hire a car so can go anywhere....tell me where you know !!! Jase

Ermita de las nieves (Small church) on the top of the famara cliffs.
Haría, also the possibility of seeing César Manrique´s grave, not to everyones taste though.
Tanit museum in San Bartolomé.

Just wondered if you've been to the visitor cemtre at the other end of the national park, heading for Mancha Blanca. It's free and excellent.

The far end of Golfo where the coach tours don't go?
Femes?
The smaller papagayo beaches

The vineyards in La Geria - specifically Statvs and Chupadero?

Hiya

Been to the visitor centre....Not been to Femes.....Drove through La Geria...never stopped (Statvs and Chupadero) Are these places easy to find ? Smaller papagayo beaches...can these be reached by car or are they long walks ? Any hidden small restaurants ( Spanish ) that we should visit ?
