Hi

My friend and I are heading off to PDC on 9th November for a week. Staying at The Columbus Apartments. So can't wait!!

Have heard that because the resort is quiet and due to the road works on the Avenida outside The Centro, that some bars, namely Big Apple, Tequila & Hippodrome are closing next month.

Can anyone confirm this? We love Big Apple & Tequila and are gonna be gutted if our fav 2 places are shut.

i am only back and i no the hiperdrum closed for a refurb and as far as i am aware the others are staying opened it was still busy there when i was there i have never heard of them closing before and dont c why they would start now hiperdrum propely would close as its was busy at all when i was there as any time when am over at this time its never busy but the big apple and tequilia seem to do quite well all yr round hope u hv a brill time

Hippodrome is only closed for a refurb - apparently re-opening in 2 weeks.

No other info regarding the other two but, on Saturday was in Centro and was as busy as ever, including Enigma - this has female dj - unusual!!

you will be fone where you are staying my sister in law manages them and not heard a thing about anything closing especially due to roadworks

Have now heard Hippodrome is defo closed for refurbishment and have also been told outside bar in Big Apple closed.

Big Apple is closed until 4 December - there is a big notice outside - saying "closed for staff vacations".

1st time visitor to Lanza and PDC, staying behind the CENTRO (I think) in Elena apartments.

Been reading as much as possible about everywhere (I'm that kind of person) and apart from driving to some island landmarks will probably be drinking close enough to where we both can almost fall into out beds!

So obviously Spenders will get a touch of our northern Irish charm, as I'm a big countdown fan..........unbeaten in 12 years at the numbers game Plus as I'm a large vodka drinker and I've heard the measures in there are very good

Always like a nice chilled out type of bar to get pissed then onto the more expensive Irish bars for entertainment.

BTW Apart from Irish bars do any others have RTE as on the sunday and friday evening I might be looking to watch my local football team? They wear candystripes but we're better than Sunderland and we're really Irish
