A word of warning to anyone planning to rent from Avis in Lanzarote this summer.
They are closing all of their offices (apart from the Airports) in the Canary Islands, so unless you are planning pick-up at the Airport, it's probably best to use another company.

That's interesting. I have used Avis for many years on Lanzarote. Not this year though, their prices have doubled!!!! Perhaps they want to leave Lanzarote altogether.
