Not been for two years in a row :( But managed to talk the Mrs into going again. Staying at the Rubicon Palace at the end of July, anyone been ? Good reviews (mainly) on Tripadvisor. Is the small bar still there in the small parade of shops out the front to the right of the hotel ?

Actually it´s called Marea ( spanish for tide) Terrace.
I have no idea why that website got the name wrong!
Nice views, really expensive prices for the drinks ( higher than it says on the web-site) though so make one last a long time!
Here´s a more accurate web-site for it.

And I thought it was called Manea!! We parked in the Natura hotel car park and walked down.

Not all that bothered about the prices, the location is excellent, nice and clean, cocktails best I've had on the island, better than Princess yaiza.

Hope you like it hot! Will be roasting in July!

Foodie, its never too hot in Lanzarote, we went to Egypt last year and that was HOT, mid 40s every day, Lanzarote is perfect for the heat. LOL.

So how much we talking for a pint of beer now ?

Check back to my previous posting re prices.
But agree, the view is worth it if you want a sundowner.
