I saw 2 cockroaches in 2 weeks, both on the "seafront" at night. Really didn't bother us at all. What I did find pleasantly surprising was the lack of other insects: a couple of beautiful butterflies; 1 ladybird; hardly any flies and; no wasps or bees!

(how do all those beautiful flowers get pollenated?)

Had a fantastic time (with Cymmon's help) and will be writing about it when I get chance.

Just logged on and seen the "Bad experience...." and panicked slightly!

hate them, hate them, hate them.

if u got a fear then u got a fear!! cant stand the little blighters,they are horrid.

anyway, a wee scoot of zum round the windows n doors of ur apartment and that will keep them out!!! about 4euros a can i think and its worth every cent!!!!

back in 4 weeks and my 1st stop is the supermarket for my zum!!
