Hey. I was just wondering what the nightlife and bars are like in Playa Blanca? Is there a wide range of bars or is it very quiet. I have heard reviews that it is a lovely place but very quiet and for more mature couples. Would just like to know if this is true. Im 23
Thanks

It IS more restrained than Puerto del Carmen but if you want nightlife you´ll find it.
Our resident wine expert (Elle) will back this up.
I live in Puerto del Carmen but took my Girlfriend for a night out in Playa Blanca. Excellent!
WAX Bar etc, Don Camillo II restaurant, lots of scenery.... good weather.... no problem!
Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for your reply. On a more business level i was thinking of opening a bar and was wondering if you guys could help me out with some queries i have.
Who are the local suppliers?
Whats the trade prices for Beers, Spirits etc?
Ive been looking online for local breweries but cannot seem to find any. Are there brewers on the island or is it imported?
Any information at all would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dearbhaile

Hope I covered it all here:

But it isn't easy just to open a bar over here there are a lot of paperwork and licence restrictions that must be adhered to and so unless you are going to buy an existing bar (and make sure it's licence and bulletins are complete with the sales agent) make sure that you seek the right advice!
