Bars which show live Football

I'm just wondering if any knows any bars which show live games other than those which are broadcast by Sky or ESPN? When I last came over I didn't really notice any and I'm hoping If I can find one I might catch a game with my team playing seeing as they are on neither sky/espn during my two weeks there. Any help would be much appreciated.

Think you might want to explain abit better??
There are loads of bars that show live games that are not on Sky or ESPN.
All the Spanish football, Gaeilic Games, Tennis, Golf etc.
What are you looking for :?:

Sorry, should have been a little clearer, i'm looking for Premiership games (not the ones shown by Sky or ESPN). Usually in other countries whilst being on holiday they broadcast a number of different games in one bar at the same time due to getting access through other satelite links, but last time i was in Lanzarote i never noticed this.

You should try SPENDERS, C/ Anzuelo.
John is very accommodating and sometimes 3 or 4 match´s are shown at the same time.

Cheers Cy and this year it is going to be a little bit harder as showtime have lost the rights and is now been shown by Abu Dhabi sports and trying to locate cards is testing to say the least, but I'll get there :lol:

I'd go for Spenders or the Blarney Stone in the Old Town for matches other than the ones shown on Sky or ESPN.

But none of those bars in Playa Blanca.....!

Irish anvil prob best bet - though I prefer to tune in to world service on a saturday afternoon with my feet up sitting outside!!

Four great bars to watch the footie depending on where you are in Playa Blanca:

FARO PARK - Lighthouse Cafe
PUNTA LIMONES (by harbour) - Popeyes Bar
DORADA BEACH (Shopping Centre Papagayo) - WAX Bar
LAS COLORADAS - Tropical Sports Bar

Wherever you are you should be able to see your team play. Many of these bars have multiple satellite systems and many TVs so pop in and check a few days before and I'm sure you can ask for your game if it wasn't on!
