I wonder where the people have come from all year as we are 15% up on last year and the prices are the same for drink.

i havent looked lately but 2 months ago it was 375 for my sister and 2 children to come this thursday from newcastle for a weeks return flight but 745 when they are off school in mid april we all know that leaving flights to the last minute now doesnt work cos as they are bought up prices go up also and yes we are well up on last year what i was saying was this week has been very very busy considering its leading into easter so maybe theres something in booking flights early we will be saying the same at end of august when it will be costly as now i can get a flight return from here to england for 110 euros book early i say http://www.jasparsbarlanzarote

i work in the travel industry and i've got to say the prices are ridiculous for just now and easter, in Glasgow the schools are off for a long weekend this weekend coming and are then off again for two weeks at the start of April so the prices are high right through......but people will pay them as they dont have much choice it's either that or they need to take the kids out of school!! We are now flying from Manchester on the 10th April which we got for £160 (flight only) but if we were to fly from Glasgow we would need to pay £345!!!! Booking early is definately the way to do it.

It depends on the area to when the school breaks up, our college aligns its easter Holiday with schools in the area. Other colleges do the same hence the varying holidays. I think the government should step in and make these holiday firms price fairly over this period. Mind you the Government is like an Emu, always got its head stuck in the sand

If i´m not mistaken (probably am) its 100GBP to take your kids out of school in term time, pay it and save 800GBP on a holiday.

you cant pay to take youre children out of school cy,you have to apply to the school to take them out in term time,if this gets declined you could be fined 100.00gpb if you still take them anyway, but the logic is correct. love meatxx

Where I am going I know it will be busy....The Party Capital of Britain....NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE If it is anything to go by in previous years it won't be but that doesn't mena you won't enjoy yourselves. The reports say that the hotels will be 85% occupied, now how many hotels are there in Lanzarote compared to apartment complexes. Oh and if you check flight prices they have just got HIGHER than they were yesterday.
