Hi - newbie here!

I hope you are all enjoying significantly better weather over then than we are in the foggy UK today!

My family is hoping to start a new life over in Lanza and I was hoping I could pick your brains about a couple of things.

Does anyone know what the beach trading laws are? We are still in gathering information mode to see whether what we want to do is at all possible. Is it possible to work on the beaches or on the proms? What licence is required? When we have been in Lanza there are always the girls around on the beaches looking to braid hair and men selling sunglasses. I presume they are not working legally!

We are looking at wanting to provide a service on the beach/prom - nothing like kite flying which would have serious health & safety issues - but would involve asking people on the beaches and proms if they would be interested in our services.

Could anyone possible advise or provide a link to local by laws etc?

Many thanks

H&B

although im sure a license is needed i very much doubt if any of the luckymen have one.
local laws here are often flouted..the big one coming up is the new stringent no smoking one which will be interesting to see who abides by it and if its enforced at all.
as for selling on the beach and seafront, the regulars who already do it..mostly from senagal would not take kindly to new competition and your health would be in serious danger!!
think its a non starter

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the guys from Senegal would not be happy but what we propose to provide would not affect them in any way!
