I can't fault the Great World on the seafront harbour end ... you can park in harbour and walk up to grab it! Been living here 6 years and never had a bad meal there!

I'd go to China! When in Lanzarote, eat Lanza - when in Rome ... and all that.

But what is Lanza?

Is it steak cooked in a variety of fashions? Is it fish in salt or simply grilled fish?Is it a plate of tapas - sardines/cheese/prawns? What is a Lanzarote dish?

The Romans ate local food as well as their coveted native dishes, whenever possible.

3rd rate chinese it definitely isn't...

Have been going to Lanza for over 15 years and everytime I think one day I will try one of those chinese/indian places.......and everytime I find a reason not to go as the local fish restaurants are just so good plus far superior versions back at home.

But I guess if I lived in Lanza permanently then guess I would def give them a go.

Yes you would get rather a lot of blank faces if you asked for the sort of chinese meal you get in Lanza in Beijing! Bit like trying to order a balti in Mumbai.
