not stayed at any of these hotels so cant in all honesty vote

I stayed in both the Volcan and Yaiza.
The Yaiza gets the nod ahead of the Volcan on atmosphere.
Both of them are gorgeous hotels.

why only these hotels?

They are the five star hotels on the Island.

The survey is meant to be for the best hotel in Lanzarote. By only putting down 5 star hotels the survey is already making a jusgement that one of these hotels is the best hotel and therefore is flawed. Either you are surveying for the best hotel or for the best 5 star hotel - they are not the same thing.

Well its always going to be a bit subjective isn't it.

I guess by taking value for money out of the equation makes it a bit easier to judge. There are some very nice small independent places which are cheaper and quirkier but if you disregard how much it costs for me would still have the Princessa Yaiza at the top!

Am sure you can ask the admin chap to add other suggestions!

True, we are making the assumption that Hotels rated in the highest category are the best.

Perfect Location
Great food
Great Service
Great rooms all with sea views
Half board excellent value for money

Sands Beach Resort....Not really a hotel but I love it there
