I stayed in both the Volcan and Yaiza.
The Yaiza gets the nod ahead of the Volcan on atmosphere.
Both of them are gorgeous hotels.

The survey is meant to be for the best hotel in Lanzarote. By only putting down 5 star hotels the survey is already making a jusgement that one of these hotels is the best hotel and therefore is flawed. Either you are surveying for the best hotel or for the best 5 star hotel - they are not the same thing.

Well its always going to be a bit subjective isn't it.
I guess by taking value for money out of the equation makes it a bit easier to judge. There are some very nice small independent places which are cheaper and quirkier but if you disregard how much it costs for me would still have the Princessa Yaiza at the top!
Am sure you can ask the admin chap to add other suggestions!

If you like, feel free to nominate some hotels that would fit into a "best-value-for-money" hotel category and we can add a new poll for that.

Perfect Location
Great food
Great Service
Great rooms all with sea views
Half board excellent value for money
