Hi,

Just out of curiosity, which beach do you consider "the best" in Lanza and why ?

Here's one of my favorits:



Plenty of space, - not too many people and great for surfing/kiting.

Playa Famara of course...........

Having been to lanzarote many times we only found this beach above on our last visit...what a lovely beach and will be returning there in 3 weeks plus again in october for my 40th ,,,,,Las Cucharas beach is pretty good too

They are all better than any Scottish beaches !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd dispute that, if we had the sun the way they do in Lanza the beaches of the western isles would win hands down, although even on the mainland there are some cracking beaches.

Las Cucharas for us too !

Got to be the horseshoe cove one at the papagayo nothing else comes close in my opinion....

THough if we can count the Graciosa beaches then the one on the far side of the island - about an hours walk from the ferry. Beach is about 2 km long and last time we were there only 4 people on it!! Beautiful white sand.

Couldn't have said it better myself. One of the most beautiful aspects of Laza is the light, - and more so how it changes. From morning until night, from one day to another, from one season to another......

One could easily stay in the very same location for days, - and no two shots would be the same.....

Part of my love affair with Lanza I guess..........
