It's a shame that this seems to have turned into a squabble.
But, should just agree to disagree

But for my money, here's places to eat.
OLD TOWN
Emma's Cantina,
Bodecos,
English Rose tea rooms,
Zaffran

NEW TOWN
La Dolce Vita,
Pinnichios
Jewel of India
Friends
The way west
Anticca de trattoria
The Great wall
Toby jug
Tebrna del Nino is on our to do list for next visit !

Yum yums gets a mention as it does great baguettes if you fancy a lighter meal in the day

Drinks
Spenders, Friends, Bluebell, Chadwicks (old town) plenty ofplaces with offers during the day....Not cheap by any means but if you fancy treating yourselves to a great cocktail Golden Corner !.....

Happy holidays everyone !
Danny

Cheers Focker

Sometimes you have to make a point. It should have been obvious that all the places were all in the area of La Penita apartments. Will try and get to the ones you mentioned in the new town. How are they for walking distance from La Penita.

They are all within easy walking distance of La Penita, Toby Joug being the furthest away, but the Barge (it's sister place is nearer)

Enjoy your hols

I've always found Pinochios(sp?) very good, good service too. A bit pricey, though iirc.
