Can anyone tell me please the best supermarket to use in PB ??

We use Ropers for Meat, Fish and Veg and Hiperdino for basics.

THe big Hiperdino at he back of town, not the Hiperdino Expresses which charge more for a lot of items. I think the fruteria in Ropers is a separate operation. They wear different uniforms, and there is a stand alone branch down from the church in PB.

Ropers: Las Coloradas area close to Papgayo Arena hotel, towards the extreme east of PB.

Hiperdino: Across the rd from the main busstation in PB central.

Don't forget the PB fish market close to the above Hiperdino has an exellent supply of fresh seafood. (Situated in the ferryport, 3 minutes walk from Hiperdino).....

We went to Ropers last September - I agree it's an excellent supermarket. Could anybody tell me though, is it just the under ground car park that you have to use? The lifts didnt seem to be working when we went!

Well ,you can park outside Mary, but the lifts do work. You must have hit a bad time
