We are holidaying in Puerto del Carmen on Lanzarote from 7 October for 11 nights and would like to order a personalised birthday cake for our daughter who will be 6 years old whilst we are away.

The cake does not need to be particularly fancy but it would be nice if it could have her name, age, etc on it.

Does anyone know of a business that does such things. We would also like to get a few helium happy birthday balloons for our evening meal. We could of course buy these in the UK and bring them if someone knows where these could be blown up.

Any help gratefully received.

PS. If the only businesses that do such things happen to be in Playa Blanca, Arrecife or Costa Teguise we are more than happy to cover all delivery costs in addition to the cost of the cake.

Maybe try Hiperdino supermarket at the end of the runway. Playa Honda.

Problem I have is that we arrive very late on the Thursday and the birthday is on the Saturday so I was hoping to place an order with someone and collect it from them on the Friday.

Have a look on http://www.Talanza.com at Tricias cakes. She will make cakes to your own specification although there are some pictured on the website. We have used her a couple of times when we've been in lanzarote for our son's birthday plus she also does helium balloons and delivers to your where you are staying.

hi there with you staying in puerto del carmen you could also try carries cakes as thats where she´s based, she does all sorts of cakes from simple plain cakes to novelty cakes in all sorts of colours at really good prices,she has a few ad´s on gazette live or her e-mail is carriescakeslanz@hotmail.co.uk
