Afternoon out again 1st November, has the fireworks display been sorted this year. i believe the last few years were a no go due to money and ecenomic climate, i think some bussiness chipped in last year but not sure we cut holiday short had to sort out personal bussiness back home., Am i able to purchse some fire works myself and let of on either wasteland or beach?

Fireworks night as in Nov 5th is a British thing. Guyfawkes and all that. I think the fireworks you are refering to are the New Years Eve ones. Certainly the local councils have little money and I believe the local Businesses will be chipping in again. Ray

Given the origins of Bonfire night I would be very surprised if the local councils contributed!!

Well I guess technically you are having a mass suicide! Just make sure you go outside so as not to kill others.

My brother in law is just out Intensive Care, he came within a whisker of dying due to smoking all his life. He's 50.
We may all have to die some time but I'd rather delay it as long as I can.
But, each to his own.

I lost both my adopted parents to smoking related illnesses, both smoked. Mum at 62, dad at 70, maybe we could have been together longer..........maybe not, but all the proof goes to show smoking does shorten lives as an average. Yes some people live to 100+ after smoking all their lives, some don´t. My mothers slow, painful death will live with me forever.
But, if you want to smoke feel free, just don´t force it onto me.

Also unfortunately most tales of 99 year old grandads do nothing to enforce the facts that smoking is not only bad for your physical health but also your financial health.

And what a great quality of life he must have had renee. Puffing and panting, circulatory problems. My brother in law's dad had his legs amputated due to circulatory disease from smoking.
I quit 5 months ago and must admit have never felt so good. Makes going to the gym and running so much easier.

Any way thanks for settling the argument with the carving knife!
To join in the conversation i have not smoked for 9 years due to having children that was my main reason, i thought i was pretty fit gym 4 times a week running cycling i quit and you would not believe how much fitter i feel i run further without getting out of breath enjoy the gym alot more my food tastes alot better my wardrobe does not smell my car and van smell fresh, My Grandad died 89 chain smoking 80 woodbine a day his wife my nan died 71 never smoked but as you all say each to there own. I am a reformned smoker but if you still want to smoke thats fine with me but not near my kids they dont have a choice!!
