We are coming back to PDC in a couple of weeks for the seventh time. We can't wait!

Normally we hire a car to explore but this year we thought we'd try using the buses. The info on here implies they are frequent and easy to use but i can't for the life of me understand the Arrecife bus website!

Can someone help please? we stay at Atlantis Las lomas in PDC at the top of cardiac hill.

Where would we get the bus from to go to Tias? and what number bus? Also, we'd like to go to PB and arrecife, can anyone help with time and bus numbers and where we would ge the bus from?

Hi Lisa,
They've just changed many of the bus services so I'll do my best for you.

Best for tias is the blue global buses that run every 20 minutes. The nearest place to get it is on the right just after the biosfera roundabout (opposite direction to old town). Numbered 501. I usually get off just before ropers in tias (opposite the football stadium).
PB bus is now number 61. That stops all along the front but closest place place to catch it will be outside the galleon pub just before linekers. Make sure the bus sees you as delivery drivers sometimes park in the bus layby. Get's there somewhere between 20 to and 10 minutes to the hour.
To get to Arrecife walk up to the biosfera roundabout and then hang a right at the roundabout. You should see a bus stop on your left. Grab 1,2 or 61 there. These buses also stop at a few bus stops on the main road at the top of pdc. So you could walk away from the strip and you'll come to the main road. I think there's a bus stop on your right.

Buy a bono bus ticket for €12 or €22 , this is for all travellers. Gives you at least 10% discount on every trip. Most drivers speak enough english to help you.

Use the new interchange in Arrecife, first stop after the motorway. Then walk towards the high rise Gran Hotel to get to the main street.

The earlier www.arrecifebus.com site was easier to use as it had spanish, english and german translations.

Go for it, the buses are fun.
