Hi. [:p]

Is there a decent bus service from costa teguise to and from other parts of the island?; Teguise, Puerta del carmen, playa blanca, "fire mountain" etc.
I'll stay in Costa teguise, though it's likely i'll spend at least half of my time trying to explore other parts of the island. Though as I don't drive car hire is out of the question so a bus service (or maybe bikes??? eeeek is going to be necessary.

Thanks.

In another message on the forum someone posted a link to hire electric bikes out, they were quite cheap and went far and fast, try searching the forum for that. I dont know about the buses as i stayed in PDC, i will be going to live there next Sunday so i would like to know this too! Except im going to be in PDC! Hope this helps,

Daz

There is a good bus service from Costa Teguise to Arrecife, which runs every 20 minutes into the bus station - from there you can get a bus to pretty much anywhere else.

Thanks.
Do you have any idea of where i can find a bus timetable (maybe even online)?

It would seem a bit of a strange way to go (West to Arricife) if i just wanted to visit Teguise in the North.

Hi, there is a bus that goes to PDC about every 20 mins. My daughter did this in the new year, and its very cheap as well. The bus she got was from outside the Coronas Playa hotel or at least on that road.

Hi
As Daz222 said, we can rent you electric bikes for the duration of your stay. We are based in Playa Blanca but can deliver them to any part of the island. They are easily re-charged and have a range of 50+km per charge and top speed of 20kph.
We recently had a retired couple who were staying in puerto del carmen, they had the bikes on hire for 3 weeks and said they saw more of the island than ever before and they have been coming here for 15 years!!!!!
Please feel free to visit our website http://www.electrobike-lanzarote.com or email any questions to lanzarotebikes@hotmail.com.
Which ever mode of transport you use, have a nice holiday8)8).
