I have used this company several times.Never had any problems (apart from queueing)! Very reasonable prices, Book on line, pay at the desk in the arrivals area.Child seat & boosters seats no extra charge.

Hope you have a nice stay!:)

I have used Autoreisen the last couple of times and so I would recommend them also, but they’re not brilliant. From the limited searches I’ve done they seem to be the cheapest, and they seem to have better insurance than some others which is why I’ve used them. You can also book on-line and pick up/return at the airport. OK all sounds great, but they’re bloomin hopelessly disorganised. They have a desk at Arrivals so one person can get the car whilst the other(s) get the luggage, but the queue can be horrendous – up to 1 hr in my experience and I’ve heard of lots longer. Even though they have your reservation already, and in the case of repeat customers they also have your license details, they still at least 10 mins per person, then you go to their little office in the car park to pick up your can and have to wait again.
The subject is discussed at further length on another site but I’m not allowed to put the link here.
Ole

We used Cicar this Christmas and found them to be fine, didn't have to wait long as they had everything ready for us, just needed to sign the paperwork and we were away.Reasonably priced too, we got special offer on the net (Astra 1.6 for the same price as a compact)

We used autoreisen in October and they were excellent.I had ordered a ford focus but they gave us a bmw at no extra cost.Yes there was a queue but i just went around to the front and got served straight away. Also we had a bump within the first hour in the spar carpark and there was no problem when we returned the car as the insurance covered it.We will be using them again this year.:)

Just got back from Lanzarote today and had an amazing experience with Pluscar. Booked car hire fom them on arrival at the airport because they charged no excess (unlike the big companies) and had an incredibly fair fuel policy - return with same fuel as in the car when hired. Big companies charged for a full tank and you had to return empty (who manages that in less than two weeks?). Decent clean car too (Polo with 16000 km on clock) at a price no higher than international companies. Was more than happy with this.

About to leave Playa Blanca at 1000 this morning for a 1230 flight when I couldn't find the car key. Rang their main admin number (on a Sunday morning!). Answered immediately, they were most concerned for me and arranged to send someone from Costa Teguise with a replacement key. Key arrived 45 minutes later; had to pay Euro100 lost key charge (all firms charge that so I expected it) but they kept saying that they would refund it if the key turned up - though I didn't really expect it. On the way to the airport they rang me to say the police in Yaiza had had the key handed in and I should see their rep when I got to the airport. When I got there he immediately refunded the Euro100.

Most amazing customer service I have ever experienced from a car hire firm. They averted a potential disaster - we caught the flight and went home warmed by Pluscar's helpfulness. I know who I'll hire from next time I'm in Lanzarote.

I always used Autoreisen, and they were always good, but that is a good experience from Pluscar. Since I've lived here, I've owned one of their ex rentals - from Autos Dibar, part of the same company as Pluscar, and it, and the service, have been great.

Any good deals on at PlusCar at the moment. I'm back out there in 2 weeks and will be wanting to hire a car.

Best to get on the individual websites - or try a comparison one like kayak.com

Most of the prices are pretty much the same.
