Hi All,

I want to rent a car for my short trip to Lanzarote next week (4 days). On the last day we are leaving with Ryanair at 07:30 in the morning

So we have to drop off the car around 6:00 but all offices are closed of course at that time.
I wrote that some off the rental companies charge extra for "out of office drop-off" and cost around 25 or 35 euro's!! Thats a lot of money!

The "record go" company is the cheapest one but I can't find anything about extra costs especially for Lanzarote and they don't respond on my emails.

Do you guys know if there is a drop-off box or something?

Try www.autoreisen.es. You can usually drop a car off out of hours, but there is a risk they will claim damage, that you cannot deny. Autoreisen never gave me a problen in 20 times. Alternatively, if you are near the airport, return in office hours, and get a taxi for your flight.
