So we went to the carnival in Playa Blanca earlier this year and want to go again next year. But can anybody tell us the dates for Playa Blanca carnival 2009, the official carnaval site has not been updated yet. We've worked it out that it should be starting 2 weeks after Puerto Del Carmen carnival, which starts 26th Feb 2009, which means Playa Blanca should start 12th March.

Can anyone confirm this?

it works that pdc is 6 weeks before easter, arrecife is the week before that and normally ct is week after pdc and pb the week after that can you work it out from there

Thanks for that. Looks like I've worked it out about right then. All I've got to do now is book flights and villa.

Our estimations work on the same date ... but don't bank on it you know how they love to make their little changes to things over here!

It looks like Playa Blanca carnival starts on 6th March and we don't arrive till evening of 8th. They've swapped Costa Teguise and PB around. What a b*gger we'll miss it
