In Spain, carnival takes place the week before Lent so 6 weeks before Easter, which is very late this year.

The big parade is in PDC on Sat 12th. You'll get a great view anywhere along the strip from American Indian Cafe down to Farionnes hotel. Think I was there for 5pm last year. Spectacular! 8) Expensive taxi from CT to PDC, I'd get the bus. It's a lot cheaper and you should easily get one back to CT quite late. Have fun, I will. whoo hoo!
