Hi there!
Would anybody be able to advise what 'Argus Rentals' are like inthe airport?
Was going to book with them now for Saturday?

It´s not a company I´ve heard of, for safety and security you would be better to use http://www.autospluscar.com or http://www.autoreisen.es . These are well respected on the Island, I personally prefer plus car, the vehicles are a maximum of 6 months old and have full insurance and 24hr telephone for help.

Thank you so much for answering so quickly, you see I want to rent from the airport. And when I went onto Argus, it seemed like a good price for the week, but then an excess insurance price was being charged per day. Does anyone know what this excess is??

Do you have to book at the airport? Would have thought it's a lot easier to book online, we always do. Cym has good advice for you; he's always seems to be willing to help out people with the right answers. That's the joy of this site, so many nice, helpful (not to mention witty) souls. Makes a pleasant change these days!

Try plus car direct, 00 34 928 514 684. Ask for Maria, I´m sure she´ll be able to help. She speaks perfect english too. Think opening hours are 0830-1230 then 1630-1900 ish.
I can get cars anytime from there.

I can reccomend Autoreisen.es. they don't care if yuo take the car back with the doors falling off!!!!

I rented with Autoreisen as plus cars couldn't help me,
Everything went perfect, and would really recommend them.
