Been going to PDC for years, and thought I knew all the old/new town bars and restaurants. Looking on http://www.pdcreview.co.uk/bars/ it seems as though Marios and The Highlander (to name two) get fantastic revews.

Any help guys, know the old town pretty well? From Dog & Duck square up to Purple Turple and Biosfera, then back down to that little patch behing Burger King. Still cant pictute CC Montana Tropical.

Montana tropical is up at the back of the Old town. It is on a road called Calle Toscon, and is surrounded by villas and apartments - it is also home to the English Butchers if you have ever been there. We have stayed in two villas nearby and sampled Mario's a couple of times for lunch, great both times. To get to it by road best way is take Calle Reina Sofia out of the old town up the hill pass the Flora Apartments and then turn left into Calle Geiser and follow this around to the bottom - turn right and Montana tropical is along on your left

I certainly would not rate Mario's, dreadful food and not interested when complaining. Never again and would never recommend to anyone

We have been to Marios in Montana Tropical 3 or 4 times and each time the food, atmosphere and service have been first class. Definately worth a visit - you will not be disappointed.
