I always come to Lanza when I know kids will be in school and I'll get peace by the pool. But I came out here last week and knew there may be some kids around the private complex where I stay. Well a racket they did make but they were English and Irish and thankfully they went home by last weekend. PEACE...BLISS. Until yesterday, and a new influx have arrived. Bloomin racket. Now I don't know of any schools over England and Ireland that aren't back from Summer holidays now, so why the heck are these parents bringing kids at this time????? Could they at least not take them to a package deal complex or all inclusive. Think I'll grass them to the respective governments!

All the Irish schools are back but not the English schools, I think most of them are off until next week... I feel your pain!

Most English schools as stated above don't go back until next Tuesday

Bah Humbug indeed guys. Thanks for the supoort yellowsun. I usually do come over Sept - Nov and Feb - March and usually avoid the crap and noise but thought I'd try earlier this year, how wrong was I. BTW, if you are happy to have them around you, tell me where you stay and I'll gladly recommend your Aptos to the perpetrators. Then you can all get along in your lil' ole' happy zone.

What a miserable, sour-mouthed, selfish attitude - do people like you really exist?! Or is this just another wind-up? You remind me of the elderly Italian couple at our complex last year who complained to reception staff that the children were "laughing too much while playing in the pool"! Yeah, right - nothing beats hearing the laughter of children enjoying themselves!

We go to Lanzarote year on year, largely because of the welcome that children get there, by the pool, in restaurants, everywhere in fact! Lanzarote, or anywhere Spanish, is clearly the wrong place for yourselves - why don't you try an "adults only" holiday, there are plenty to be had.

And, to put the record straight, you can report to whichever government you see fit, but my child is not due back at school until 8.50am on Tuesday 6th September - so there, up yours!!

According to my son who i admit did make a bit of noise in the pool last week, mainly because he had just got his GCSE results which consisted of 5A*s and 5As and he was happy, A troll is a person who knowingly places a controversial comment or post on a forum in order to provoke a response.

Hmmm, horses for courses argument.

If you don’t like being around kids on hols then avoid the holiday period, I’m sure you will next time. We all enjoy a bit of peace and quiet but I have to be honest and say that now my kids aren’t quite kids I’m jealous of parents who have young children to take on hols, it’s such an exciting time for them and you don’t get to do it very often.
So I have little sympathy for the anti-kids brigade.
Ole

It is quite informative to look at Renee's posting history, especially all the ones where he supports smokers.

Thought Trolls were something to do with Norwegian fiords?
