Hi we are coming over again at christmas. (PDC) never been at this time of year but always wanted to do it,so we dont reallyknow what to expect. can anyone give me any info about the santas parade this year, or any other things like that worth seeing.we are there from 22nd dec -6th jan, if there is anything anyone can recommend worth seeing while there.

Seems to be a Father Christmas parade 24th December, Fireworks on the main beach Dec 31st, 1 am and the kings parade 5th Jan at 9 pm.
Unless things have changed.

Dont miss the parade it was very good last year,starts at the cafe near the San Antonio at 18.00 ish if you take an outfit they let you join in
I also enjoyed the full island tour last year went with low cost
tours managed to visit most parts of the island in 9 hours.

where is the san antonio and when and where do we have to be there???

When you arrive in PdC, most bars restaurants and hotels, apartments will know what time the parade starts.
The kids will love it, the adults maybe more
Watch out for batucada bands..... I hope they're there again.... Look at youtube and try batucada to find the feeling.

But.........hey it's xmas.

Wish I was there this year! But we have similar bands to batucada in the Phils..........

We are out on the 19th December Simon pity you are not there Still Inm sure you will have a great Christmas where you are at the moment.

Not sure where I'll be, looking at possible UK visit, then back to Butuan and a return to Lanza for 11 days in April. Things seem to change on a daily basis.
