I'm staying at Club Tahiti over Xmas with my two sons 20yrs & 15yrs, has anyone any comments on the complex or suggestions of things to do or visit. Never been to Lanzarite and the lads are very sporty.

Hi Pam,
The Tahiti is at the bottom end of town and is just a short walk from the centre - just far enough so that you do not have any noise problems!

If your lads are very sporty, have they tried scuba diving? The divings not bad around here and the water remains quite warm all year round.I have dived with Atlantida dive centre many times before and i can highly recommend them to look after your lads. There are plenty of other watersports to do, as well as bikes for hire, so i am sure that you will find something to keep them occupied!

The hotel is small but very nice and have never heard a complaint about it. When you come, bring your driving licence with you - the island has many beautiful things to go and visit and the drivers are not as bad as everyone imagines - you can rent a car for around E140.00 for the week and petrol costs very little.

I am sure that you will enjoy your trip but remember to bring jackets for the evening as it can get a bit nippy![:0]

I can recommend Atlantida Dive Cebter as well and what an experience for your lads :D

There are some excellent restaurants in Costa Teguise try La Chimnea in los Cocharas and Las Maretas (you have to book) further up by the post office, if you are on a budget try Coffee and Cream behind the police station they do 2 meals for 12.90 Euro all home cooked food plus John and Zoe make you so welcome.

If they are into surfing then a trip to Famara would be excellent I believe you can have lessons there as well.

If they fancy wind surfing there are places in Costa Teguise that offer lessons it seems to be a big thing on the main beach.

Would also advise jackets for a night time and also in case of a cloudy day it can get chilly in the wind especially if you go upto fire mountain.. which is a must on any trip to Lanzarote.

Hope you have a good holiday :D
