Hi All
A work colleague would like me to purchase some Golden Virginia tobacco for him while i am in Lanzarote.
As a non smoker and also as he wants to pay me before i go can someone please let me know how much it costs.
i.e 5 x 50G or 10 x 50G

50g (the old 2 oz packs) are about 4 to 5 euros each if bought individually.

Although the canaries are spannish territory they are classed as non eu for customs allowances so your tobacco allowance is only 250g per person.
Don't know where you are flying from but up here in newcastle they have clammped down on people bringing more than the allowance from the canaries in the last few months.

the price for 10x50g packs is around 36/37euro however as stated you can only breing 5 pouches back in the airport they sell in packs of 5 for about 20/22euro

cheapest place we have found is the little man accross the road from the san antonio, the commercial centre is called costa luz.
