Can anyone tell how to get to Spenders and Jaspers from La Penita apartments.

Please bear in mind this will be our first visit to PDC so an idiots guide would be useful.

Ok, come out onto the main road. Next to the fantastic Italian restaurant Anticca Trattoria de Verona, then turn right towards the harbour. Walk (slowly) for maybe 10 mins until you get to a supermarket called "supermercado dos mil", this is opposite to a couple of buildings (one was the old cesar Manrique shop).
You can see some tables outside this shop, where you can have tea, coffee and cake, that road on your right is the one you need to use to get to Spenders. Straight up the hill past a few Irish bars and on the left hand corner of the first road you see Spenders.

To get to Jaspars, you will maybe need a taxi as it is just above the old town harbour.

Sue is now in the Fishermans bar in the old town, it will be about 4 euros in a taxi from la penita, hope you have a good one.

Just to clarify that :-
Jaspars has now closed so there’s no point giving directions there. However Sue, who used to own Jaspars now has a bar called The Fisherman’s in the old Town which I believe is on Calle Teide.

Penita is just behind 25, Spenders is about 500 meters away close to 6 and The Fisherman’s is over to the left between 31 and 50 I think, about 2.5 km.
