hi if u live in ct could you pls tell me the exchange rate for british money ive asked b4 but no reply i think im better taking money and getting it exchanged 4 euros out there am i rite xx

hi! looks like everybody's ignoring you! :o lol

i'm not going to be much help.. but i was told when i booked my holiday that you get more euros for english money if you exchange it over there, but if you go to a bank or in your hotel, and not at the airport. like i said, i was told by the tour operator.. so this might not be exactly right. hope i helped a little! i'm going on the 14th june! cant wait.. 5 days and counting the minutes!

meatloaf we exchanged over there and got 1.44€ to the £, with no commission. this was in late April, so should check to see what the rate is over here before you go, i am told (by my mum, who lives in CT) that the best place to get an exchange is next to the Red Lion which is near the Lively ladies showbar (should defo pop in there for a night!) but to take a calculator or maths expert, as they may try to rip you off, but still offer the best rate in CT apparently!

bring money to change here and look out for exchange places or shops with no commission hotels and banks should be given a miss rate at mo is around 1.44

also if i remember right the best day to exchange is a wednesday as the rate increases.....slightly, but still.

thank nic as im going on thursday thats not much use ta anyway.im only taking 70 pound anyway so it hardly seems worth it:thats 10 per day for me and her i hope shes not hungry or thirsty and likes the walk 2 and from the airport with the cases lol lol:Dxx

nip into the cafe meatloaf and i will point you in the direction of another exchange,the one opposite celeste is okay but the guy has the biggest chip on his shoulder,you'd think he would be happy getting all your hard earned dosh!
