If you do then what is the weather like exactly? All of the websites seem to say something different, for example, the BBC says its raining all week, today is 28 C and tomorrow 24 C but a spanish website says its cooler than that all week and partially sunny but no rain so I am confused as to exactly who is right, if anyone!
I am just wondering what to pack when i come in a couple of weeks? I've only ever been in October and so I am mainly concerned about the evenings. Will light clothes be enough for me? Will my Husband be too hot if he brings jeans to wear at night? We are renting our own villa and so will be BBQing and sitting outside at night so will it get very cool? any advice would be great.

At 2pm on Tuesday in Playa Blanca, according to my car thermometer (not the one on the chemist's shop which reads ridiculous figures when it's in direct sunlight) it's about 25 C, and lightly overcast. It may rain sometime over the next few days, but typically that wouldn't last long. In the evenings the temperature will drop to about 20 or 21 by midnight. If you are away from the coast in the hills, it might be a degree or two cooler. It's difficult to judge how you'll react, because we all feel hot or cold differently, but he should be fine in shorts, but not too hot in jeans - what I wear depends on the occasion more than the temperature. Again, light clothes should be fine for you. My wife tends to wear summer dresses or cropped trousers, and may put a shrug or light cardigan on in the evening if outside. One thing that can make a difference is the wind. Lanzarote is usually breezy or downright windy, so sitting in the wind or being sheltered makes a difference.

Whatever else you do, please wear at least factor 20 sun cream. The sun is almost overhead at noon, and for the protection the clouds give, they might as well not be there. If you spend time outdoors on even a cloudy day without adequate protection, you WILL burn.

Just adding to what was said above: Although Lanzarote is a small island, - there may be huge differences in weather between north and south, - east and west......

And yes, weather forecasts are rarely accurate.......

Today in Playa Blanca it has been 20 degrees cloudy all day and rain showers off and on. But this is not the typical type of weather. The weather here can change from cloudless sky to cloudy in moments and the same in reverse. But when the sun is out it is very hot. usually most days we have plenty of sun. As was said earlier the wind can also influence how the weather appears. Evenings are warmer now than winter months low's at the moment of about 18. So yes maybe a cardi for evenings. hope we have all helped you.
