walker,i do it to wind you guy's up,don't take it so seriously. i'm sure PB is wonderful and a fantastic place to live ( especially if they build the new port !! )
No I don't take it seriously - it's just an unnecessary distraction. The place to go if you want to wind people up is the Gazette forum. Let's keep this one and Canary Nightlife more reasonable.

- and btw, just heard rumours from Aena that plans exist to extend the runway by 1000 mts in ACE airport. Towards the south.......
I don't suppose that would make a huge difference, except for the Beatriz Playa. The planes would be coming past Matagorda a few metres lower, and reverse thrust would go on nearer the beach.

Just back from PDC. I was highly amused by the 'lucky lucky' guy, selling genuine copy rolex's .... and he was even offering b.o.g.o.f. so funny!... was less amused by the bar owners allowing a woman to leave a note on tables, saying if you have a good heart give me your money coz i'm a single mother, and she had the nerve to tut when she got nothing, she would be better off getting on the next plane to the uk, they would be throwing money at her!
