Hi, just seen your post, supermarkets do not stock gluten free bread or such like, only rice cakes which can be found in the diet section. However they are really good at labelling their products as sin gluten.

I buy my gluten free products at Tienda Verde in Tias it is a health food shop and when you go in their products are on your right hand side in yellow packaging. They have bread, biscuits, crackers, pasta and bread and cake mixes, not cheap bread is €3.55. There is also a health food shop on the upper floor of Deiland in Playa Honda and they also have a small selection at the back of the shop.

If it helps Eurospar Macher stocks lactose free milk and cheese. All supermarkets sell soja yogs and milk but you have to try Vive Soya, soja milk and fruit juice it is lush!! Hope this helps.

Thanks SteveandVanessa,
The Eurospar in Corrallejo on Fuerte has the best selection of GF products I have seen anywhere, even better than Sainsburys Tesco or Asda !! Was there a couple of weeks ago. Thought then other Eurospars would be the same, so saving me carrying bread over cos just travelling with hand baggage, flying Ryanair when we go to Lanza in autumn.

Hi Peter,

When I was over last month the spar behind Centro Atlantico had a fair few gluten and dairy free products namely bread, milk, cheese, biscuits and yogurts. I was actually amazed and actually commented to my friend that they had a better selection than most of the supermarkets back home. Might I reccomend the Risketos gluten free crisps, they are gorgeous.

Staying in the north of Lanzarote for the first time, thought I could get a few GF items on the way from the airport, so as to save me bringing a loaf etc !!! Thats why I thought of the eurospar idea !! I knew a Cheryl when I was growing up in Yorkshire, nice name !!
