Sorry everyone, I know how dull a topic this is, but can someone in PDC tell me how much the Exchange shops(Liquor Stores) are giving at the moment for £1. I only ask as I'm away to load a prepaid card and just want to be sure I'm getting a fair exchange rate. Thanks all, and please don't whinge, hahaha

It's 1.12 a couple of weeks or so back it was 1.20 in PDC

Thanks mate, i thought the rate must have fallen recently. Just my luck, it dipped to 1=1 for me a couple of years ago.

If you want to know roughly what you'll get on a given day, look in a newspaper, or on the BBC's website, where they will show the Interbank rate. You'll get about 2 or 3 cents less than that in a shop in Lanzarote. As I type at 4:45 pm on 13 Oct, the BBC is showing 1.133, so I guess you'd get about 1.10 or 1.11 in one of the shops. Afew weeks ago it was as high as 1..20, when the BBC was showing 1.22
