Any idea what exchange rate i could get over there as opposed to doing it here. Currently the best rate here is 1.11. Thanks.

1.11 was what the indian shops had yesterday afternoon. As the Interbank rate is 1.1244 this morning, 1.11 is good.

Got back yesterday and we got €1.12 all week at the Indian shop near La Penita. Just be aware as has been said before all these shops advertise a 1 cent rate higher on their boards outside but that's just for Travellers Cheques and it's 1 cent less for cash.

Or the other way round if they feel like it!
