Corralejo Market (based at the Baku Waterpark complex) is every Monday and every Friday from 8am to 2pm.

Caleta de Fuste Market is every Saturday from 8.30am to 2pm.

Jandia Market is every Thursday from 10am to 2pm. Antigua Market is held every second Sunday of the month from 10am to 2pm.

Have I seen you on another travel forum Gees? If so, then 10/10 for thorougness (is that a real word?)

Anyhow... Yes it's really easy to get a ferry. but you may be better to hit some Fuerte forums for info about the market.

Personally... I would recommed going to the PB markets! Wednesdays and Saturdays. They are help in two places at the same times.

The biggest is at Marina Rubicon (i've bagged a number o9f bargains here - including my latest sunglasses!) and the other is on the road from Playa Blanca to Femes, just past Sun Park (got some cheapie shorts there - but check out the fake designer handbags!)

Happy shopping!

Have been to PB about 4 times now staying in a Villa in Faro Park really looking forward to landing back on Lanazarote soil on 20 Sep 07. We've always found loads to do & have never made it over to Fuerteventura on the Ferry. I'd like to do it this time if only to re-inforce my luv for Lanzarote. Approx how much does it cost per adult & is it worth taking the hire car or is that not allowed for insurance purposes.

Luv the forum just joined!!

We've been a couple of times in hire cars, cost roughly sixty quid for two of us and car.

Advice is pass straight thru the town when you get there and head straight for the endless beaches.

Last time we did a two day tour of the island, staying at the far end. Worth the trip for the experiences, nice but not Lanza.

In the end never got on the ferry, too much to do in PB, the Rubicon Market is very good, followed by a beer by the marina dreaming of a lottery win. Thanks for all the advice eveyone had a great two weeks, now to start saving again.
