Hi Folks

I've been trying to find out about all the films shot on location in Lanzarote. I already knew about "One Million Years B.C." and the sci-fi movies "Enemy Mine" and "Krull".

Here are some useful links if anyone is interested:

http://www.lanzaroteguidebook.com/lifes ... te-on-film

http://www.imdb.com/List?locations=lanz ... strings=on

No other well known movies on those lists, really... :(

Cheers

Back in about 1991 I first went to Papagayo, in those days there were no road signs, or even roads just sand dunes and we just drove our jeep till we got to a beach, needless to say it was pretty secluded, we found a little gap in the rocks to lay down.
Well the next week, when I was back home I was watching a dodgy late night film, the landscapes looked like Lanza so I watched for a while, anyway there was a scene where a chap and his lady were getting frisky on the beach and in the heat of the moment she killed the poor chap – and bu**er me the dirty deed was shot in the very same gap in the rocks on that Papagayo beach that we had been the week before – I was a bit spooked actually !

Anyone still awake ?

Ole

I think you'll find that Planet of the apes was shot in the US, i believe it was Malibu amongst other US locations.

Ermmm, actually I’ll have you know that film was a very subtle and moody piece of artwork exploring the combined effects of greed, pain and desire within personal relationships.
The fact that it was Scandinavian with subtitles and the girl was being Rogered on the beach is pure coincidence. :)

No idea what it was called ? Don’t think it was up for an Oscar though.
