Hi everyone, My other half and I have our first holiday to Costa Teguise booked for 10 days from the 16th June, staying at the Galeon Playa.

I have done a little research about things that we can do when we get there and so far the to do list is : Visit Jameos Del Agua, Lanzarote Aquarium, Timanfaya park, Guinate tropical park.

So can anyone suggest anything more that I might have missed and also would the above be reasonably close by or would we have alot of bus journeys?

I have also heard there is a cocktail bar that is unmissable, does anyone know where it would be or it's name??

Timanfaya Park is unmissable, no chance of a local bus though. You´ll need a tour or a hire car. Sit on the side opposite the driver for the trip.
Jameos del Agua, superb.
Guinate tropical park very nice but a bit pricey.
The Aquarium is in Costa Teguise so no problem with that one.
You also have cueva de los verdes, an underground tour with a secret......

The cocktail bar will probably be 'Hook' and its in the main square - its a great bar to visit and you will love their cocktails.
You have obviously missed off calling into our place but never mind, you can alwalys put it on your list

Theres a few lovely cocktail bars...one called surfwings by the beach is lush too.

When youre at the aquarium pop into cactus jacks next door!! They do evening entertainment everynight with quizzes and that...
Or you can just laze about after your aquarium visit xxxx

ive stayed at the galleon playa its nice and central just dont leave any food or crumbs lying around or the ants will appear.its a nice hotel lovely pools and very helpfull staff,i would stay there again and yes i would reccomend the bar mentioned,i wonder do i get commision

If I get to all these bars that everyones recommending then I won't be able to see the bugs nevermind be afraid of them

whats the secret on the underground tour?!?!?!?!

I have googled it and it really must be a secret!! every site I found talks about the great secret at the end of the tour but not one will tell you what it is! just have to wait til I'm there I sapose!

The tour is in the Cueva de los Verdes, unfortunately you need to do the tour to find the secret.
