Hi there everyone,

We have been tracking the forum for a couple of weeks now, very informative and quiet funny as well.

We are coming out later this week for 14 days fun and sun, got the villa sorted, got the car sorted and cannot wait, any must do's would be appreciated (we saw advertised a very nice looking glass floored restaurant near the airport), we like visiting new places, a bit of culture, a castle or old church, a market or two and we are also divers.

We are staying in Playa Blanca, but willing to travel around as well, some nice restaurants near the marina's would be good.

Any ex-pats living out there need anything brining over (that’s supposing we have any baggage allowance left over when she finishes packing all her shoes) just shout.

I like the old harbour area, where the ferry goes from . There are plenty restraurants on the prom area, catering for all prices and virtually all tastes.

It can rain at any time of year, but unless you are really unlucky, it'll only be a shower. There were a showers for a few minutes yesterday in Playa Blanca, but as far as I can remember, that was the first since about April. Toaday is fine and hot. Most rain falls in February, but that isn't much.

Yes that was the half term week. All those people who didn't take their children out of school in term time, but paid top dollar in the hal term holiday had a really unlucky week. It was great the weeks either side!

"As far as I can remember" Ah well, at my age - actuually, checking here, http://www.wunderground.com/history/air ... atename=NA, they can't remember any in July either, so I don't feel too bad. THey spotted it in mid feb though during the half term, about 3mm per day.
