If you follow their rules to the letter and I mean to the letter they are fine. You should get an e-mail with your reservation setting out the rules. Make sure you have printed out their boarding pass completely not part of it or with ink that has all but run out. Measure your hand luggage if it is over the size they stipulate you will be charged, dont think you can char or bully your way through it. Other than that you wont have a problem.
Post back and let us know how you got on and have a great holiday

I have been flying easyJet to Lanza ever since they started flying there, after switching from Monarch. In fact, I just flew with them to Lanza & back two weeks ago, I have never had a problem with them. If you have paid for hold luggage it's more generous than Ryanair's 15kg and I have never been bombarded with requests to buy stuff all the time during the flight - only the odd announcement - and the cabin crew are very friendly (and very busy). The most I have ever been delayed is about an hour...
I am an extremely nervous passenger (OK, I am terrified) and will only fly certain airlines, easyJet is one of them.
And to all the sceptics out there, No, I don't work for easyJet...
Flying budget airlines is what you make it, as Ray say's, if you stick to the rules you'll be OK

Jim,
I don't beleive that makes any difference. As far as Easyjet are concerned, you're a passenger like all the rest, and the same rules apply.

I take it that you dont get a boarding pass at the check in desk when you check in. you have to print it yourself, sorry if i seem a bit thick but when you fly with proper airlines you get boarding passes at check-in, i will also make sure my hand luggage is the proper dimensions.

Easyjet are great - I actually think you get more legroom than on the charter holiday flights - which seem to have old planes in my experience.
Just print off the boarding cards and you are laughing.

Hi Jim
Unlike Ryanair you don't HAVE to print off your boarding pass but the option is there on their website - you can just rock up to check-in and you'll get your boarding card there when you hand over your luggage (unless something has changed in the last two weeks)
I don't know about other airports but if you are flying from Gatwick there is a bank of easyJet check-in desks for all easyJet flights so you may or may not get stuck in a rather long but always moving queue...

I would print one anyway just in case. Ryan Air charge £80.00 if you dont.

Good choice with easyJet.
I made the mistake of booking my last inbound with TCX, and they were shocking. Ridiculous hand baggage limit of 5kg, being told I couldn't use my non transmitting iPod inflight because it would effect the systems, when really they just want to con you out of £10 for one of their PSPs. I spent the entire flight with tiny leg room, in an old aircraft and sarcastic crew.
easyJet will not charge you for a boarding pass, so you don't need to worry about printing one, neither do they impose a hand luggage weight limit; as long as you can lift it into the locker unaided, it's fine. They also allow you to use your own entertainment gadgets inflight, and crew are generally very friendly.
The only difference for you will be the non allocated seating, but this can be a very good thing, if you buy speedy boarding, it's well enforced at Gatwick and you can sit wherever you want. Emergency exit row? no problem, no extra charges.
The service levels on the charters have deteriated over the last 10 or so years, a low cost airline like easyJet is generally cheaper, you'll get a much newer aircraft (their oldest A320 used on the canary routes is about 2 years old), and legroom is 29 or 30in, the extra couple of inches are noticeable.
Low cost all the way.
