I'm sure many of you forum regulars get as excited as we do when our inbound flight finally reaches Lanzarote and we get to watch the landscape and pick out places and features we recognise. Been flying into Arrecife since the 80's and have never landed from that direction.

Must have been an odd wind direction at the airport.

Great video, but like Truffle said, I too have never landed in that direction in 35 years, always come in from the sea.

Landed that way once in 25 years - was in the middle of bad weather and the last 10 minutes of the flight was similar to a rollercoaster. But at least our plane landed - other did divert to Fuertaventura.
