I'm over the moon with all the help I've got from people on this site!
I've been looking at car hire prices online, cheapest for 2 weeks with A/C coming in at 273 euros with Autoriesen and 280 euros with Autopluscars. I'm undecided as to which to take as there isn't much in it cost wise.
32 days and counting :D

I booked a car with A/C with autoreisen for 2 weeks for 165 euros!

Oh Robert what am I doing wrong? Did you book online? What car was it? I went for the cheapest model with A/C. How can I get the same price? Also I noticed that they ask for a credit card for security which I don't have but will be using my Mum's for payment. Will this be a problem do u think?

It was the 2nd cheapest option, the cheapest with A/C. Did the same last year and got a brand new SEAT Ibiza. I don't know about the credit card.

Try the price for a BIGGER car (eg a Seat Cordoba). Sometimes they are actually cheaper with Autoreisen! Bizarre I know - bot often true

A Cordoba is just an Ibiza with a boot instead of a hatch (saloon).

I checked your prices and I think it's because you're going later in the season than me.

I think you're right Robert, still gonna go for it. Cordoba probably best bet for fitting suitcases in, if hire for 2 weeks

Robert, thats a bit like like saying its the same car but wilth 4 seats instead of two! :?

The Cordoba has 4 doors and a truly cavernous boot. It will take 3 or even 4 suitcases! And if you can hire it for the same price - and often even less -it has to be better deal.

Oh hang on. Why dont we start comparing the fuel consumption? I am sure the Ibiza is better :x

Only pointing it's not a better class of car. It's exactly the same as an Ibiza but with a boot, yes it's a large boot but it's basically the same car.
