Just spent 2 weeks in Costa Teguise. Trade Forex for a living so needed a reliable wifi connection.
Found it with FREE access at this new Tapas Bar/cafe opened by Debbie and David from UK just few weeks ago.
They couldn't do enough for me to get my trading connections going at all hours!

Have cheap PC internet service too!

Fantastic service and great food too...he's ex Savoy UK!

They are a bit hard to find at the end of the promenade shops/bars under the Churachas Beach Entrance of the Barcelo La Galea appartments.....worth the the short walk

....and the food is awesome! We were lucky enough to be invited to the opening night to taste the menu, and it was amazing.

Went past there a couple of days ago - it looks really nice!

Shame to see the Sunburnt Arms all closed up though.

:?:The Sunburnt Arms was boarded up when we went to CT for the day when we were staying in PDC at Christmas/New Year 2005.

These are their stories.

Yes, then it reopened again. I was in there last spring with a friend, chatting to a lady - I think her name was Kerry.

It's a nice stretch of bars along there - it would've just been nicer to see more people in them. Hennessey's was the busiest of the bunch in the early evening.

Sarah and Mick are doing great at the Bullog (around the corner) too - good for them!

I think Ms Novak meant 2008 Elle as they frequented mine then, probably a typo error:D

We've just sold the traspasso on The Sunburnt Arms and the new owners are carrying out a big refurbishment and will be opening in March with a new name.

Ms Novak definitely meant 2005 as we didn't go to CT when we were over a few weeks ago ( we didn't get that drunk did we John that we wouldn't remember where we'd been )

Aldo

P.S. Thanks for your hospitality John and Steve, Spenders is a great little bar, hope the building work went OK.

Hi, does anybody know the name of this new Tapas Bar as we may be coming out in June and it sounds like it's worth a visit. Also can anybody currently resident assist me with the phone no. of a restaurant called 'La Tunera' in a small village up North called Charco Del Palo. It is one of our favourite places to go and I know they are sometimes closed in June. (Estupendo Mike, can you assist?).

Steve

The new tapas bar is called Tapasdotcom. The phone number for La Tunera is 928 52 94 14. Alos try Pete's Pub (owned by Reiner!) in Charco, food is always good, but Wednesday is all you can eat rib night - yum!
